Tri-Village Lady Patriots' senior standout Karli Dill had a memorable weekend at the 18th annual Bill Burkett Lady Patriot’s Classic Basketball Tournament. Dill led all scorers with 36 total points in the tournament.
Friday night in the opening round game against Arcanum, Dill put her team on her shoulders with a game-high 18 points...nearly half of her team's points. It wasn't enough as Arcanum took a 51-38 win.
Saturday evening Dill led the Lady Patriots with another solid night in the consolation game against Ansonia.
The senior sharp-shooter drilled four treys and led all scorers again with 18 points. This time it was enough for victory as the Lady Patriots captured a 51-33 win.
For her outstanding performance Karli was selected to the All-Tournament team along with Brooke Strayer and Ashley Fulknor of Arcanum, and Maria Howell, Abby Davenport and Courtney Oswalt of Franklin Monore.
