It is amazing the feat that Dale has accomplished considering the injuries that he fought his whole career. Spitler holds the most career 3's as a freshman among others in his high school career. Without the injuries he undoubtably would have more to add to his resume.

Known for his 3 point shooting throughout his career, Spitler hit the weight room this summer to strengthen his back, but to also make him a stonger player on the floor. After missing his first two games of his senior season, Coach Tony Augspurger has utilized his senior leader all over the floor. Besides hitting his trademark 3's, Dale has been used on the high and low posts as well as driving his defender into the lane for 12 - 15 foot jumpers.

TVS started the season 0 - 2 as Dale was still getting into shape for the season. Dale did not play with the team since he injured his back late in the season last year. He was unable to play with the team during summer camps and this was significant since he was the only returning starter from last year's team that was 2nd in the CCC and 17 - 6 overall. In the 3rd game of the 06' season Dale returned and the difference he made was immediate. TVS has only lost one game going 12 - 1 since his return.
