It was another exciting year in the Cross County Conference on the volleyball court. For the second straight season the Twin Valley South claimed CCC gold. The Lady Panthers finished unbeaten in conference play at 12-0 and recorded a 19-3 overall record.
For their outstanding season, three Lady panthers were selected to the all-conference team - the most selected from any school.
The Lady Bees from Bethel also has a big year, finishing second in the CCC with an 11-1 conference record. This led to Bethel coach Lori Smith being named "Coach of the Year" in the Cross County Conference.
The "Player of the Year" in the Cross County Conference was Alex Christian of Covington. She brought excellent credentials to the table with 395 kills, 211 digs and 70 blocks.
